What is Social and Emotional Learning?
Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.

Students are recognized for positive behavior. Students and Staff know the consistent expectations across school settings.

Family Balance Nights
On family balance nights teachers will not assign homework. There will also be no assessments given the next day. The purpose of family balance nights is to give families an opportunity to spend time together during the week.

Test Anxiety
Test anxiety is a psychological condition in which people experience extreme distress and anxiety in testing situations. While many people experience some degree of stress and anxiety before and during exams, test anxiety can actually impair learning and hurt test performance.
